Pleasure and Pain: Leaving for Israel

I hope your trip brings you challenges and excitement. It will be interesting for you to be one of the older members of the participants.

I'm looking forward to your posts coming after this trip and I hope you share some photos, especially for those of us who haven't had the pleasure of visiting Israel.

I hope they give you power to charge your iPhone, oh wait, your bb will be alright.

For real though google gears + google reader before you takeoff!

I know you'll have a blast and learn so much about the middle east and your faith. I'm had relatives who have gone on these trips but always assumed I'd never qualify as a Unitarian Catholic-Jew. Hehe. But reading about it more it looks like that wouldn't be an issue and now I wish I was six years younger.

    Take lots of pictures!

I went on the first wave of Birthright trips in winter 2000, and my brother went in 2002. Such an amazing experience! It was intense and exhausting, but I'm so glad I had the opportunity to go. I'm enjoying your tweets about it. It's lovely how different each trip is, but how the core stuff stays the same.
